Individual Hole Analysis

Hole 1 Par 5

Broome Manor Hole 1

WHITE 509 YARDS | YELLOW 487 YARDS | RED 415 YARDS

Long hitters can clear the hedge off the tee but beware of the gorse bushes on the right

An uphill approach to a narrow green guarded by two bunkers

Hole 2 Par 4

Broome Manor Hole 2

WHITE 396 YARDS | YELLOW 386 YARDS | RED 366 YARDS

The Tee Shot calls for accuracy rather than length. The longer you hit the tee shot the narrower the fairway becomes and the more you will bring the trees in front of the green in to play

Tricky Approach to a well guarded Green, which slopes back to front and is never as fast as you think

Hole 3 Par 3

Broome Manor Hole 3

WHITE 163 YARDS | YELLOW 157 YARDS | RED 140 YARDS

Difficult Par 3

Correct Club Selection is very important on this hole. Make sure you take enough club to clear the bunker at the front.

Once you’re on the green it’s a relatively easy 2-putt

Hole 4 Par 4

Broome Manor Hole 4

WHITE 361 YARDS | YELLOW 345 YARDS | RED 340 YARDS

Difficult Dog Leg par 4

Positioning is very important off the tee. Try to favour the right side of the fairway and ensure you don’t run through the fairway into the bunkers waiting for you.

This will set up a mid-iron approach to a large green with bunkers left and right. Take a yardage to the back portion of the green to take the danger out of play

Hole 5 Par 4

Broome Manor Hole 4

WHITE 344 YARDS | YELLOW 344 YARDS | RED 312 YARDS

Another hole where accuracy off the tee is more important than length

Favour the right side of the fairway to avoid being blocked out by the trees on the left side for your approach shot in to a relatively flat green

Hole 6 Par 3

Broome Manor Hole 6

WHITE 148 YARDS | YELLOW 128 YARDS | RED 111 YARDS

The shortest Hole on the course

A wide green with a ditch at the front and bunkers at the rear, choose your club wisely

Hole 7 Par 4

Broome Manor Hole 7

WHITE 318 YARDS | YELLOW 304 YARDS | RED 290 YARDS

A short par 4 that requires an accurate tee shot.

Avoid the pond and ditch which runs along the right of the hole and the out of bounds which is all along the left side.

A well struck tee shot should leave you a relatively short approach to a green that is guarded by a large bunker on the left

A good birdie chance

Hole 8 Par 4

Broome Manor Hole 8

WHITE 300 YARDS | YELLOW 297 YARDS | RED 291 YARDS

Another short par 4 that requires an accurate tee shot.

Big hitters can go over the top of the trees on the right, but for the regular golfer favour the left side of the fairway and take enough club in to slightly uphill approach shot in to green with some subtle breaks

Par is a good score here

Hole 9 Par 4

Broome Manor Hole 9

WHITE 426 YARDS | YELLOW 426 YARDS | RED 400 YARDS

A long par 4 that requires two well struck shots to reach the green in regulation

Favour the left side of fairway to avoid the two well placed bunkers on the right, but don’t go too long or you may get blocked out by the hedge.

This will leave you a mid to long iron into a green that slopes back to front and is well protected by bunkers on all sides

Par is definitely a good score here

Hole 10 Par 4

Broome Manor Hole 10

WHITE 308 YARDS | YELLOW 308 YARDS | RED 297 YARDS

A risk and reward par 4 that requires a straight drive

Long hitters may be tempted to drive the green but don’t go long as out of bounds awaits left and long

Favour the right side of fairway as the bounce will kick from right to left

This will leave you a mid to short iron into a green that slopes back to front and right to left and is protected by front bunkers

A Birdie Chance

Hole 11 Par 3

Broome Manor Hole 11

WHITE 161 YARDS | YELLOW 139 YARDS | RED 130 YARDS

A well stuck tee shot is required as water and bunkers are waiting for you

The green slopes from front to back

Hole 12 Par 5

Broome Manor Hole 12

WHITE 601 YARDS | YELLOW 536 YARDS | RED 492 YARDS

A long tee shot is needed to be able to get in position for your second shot

Long hitters can get on in two but beware of the ditch short of the green, for the average golfer this is a three-shot par 5

Your shot in to the green is uphill and is in to a deep green that slopes back to front, favour the right hand side to avoid the bunker on the left

Hole 13 Par 4

Broome Manor Hole 13

WHITE 438 YARDS | YELLOW 410 YARDS | RED 309 YARDS

A difficult Par 4 that needs two well struck shots to get on the green in regulation

From the tee favour the left side of the fairway to avoid the ditch and being blocked out by the big tree on the right

The approach shot will likely be a long iron or hybrid played uphill in to a raised green which is well guarded by bunkers on the front

The green has lots of breaks to catch any wayward putts

Hole 14 Par 4

Broome Manor Hole 14

WHITE 380 YARDS | YELLOW 348 YARDS | RED 334 YARDS

A Par 4 that needs a straight tee shot that avoids the well positioned bunker on the right and the ditch that runs at the end of the fairway

Approach this well guarded green with caution to avoid the pond on the right and the bunker on the left, but get on in two and it’s a fairly straight forward two-putt par

The green slops back to front

Hole 15 Par 3

Broome Manor Hole 15

WHITE 201 YARDS | YELLOW 186 YARDS | RED 170 YARDS

A long par 3 with water right and long of the green

There are two bunkers which protect the left side of the green so favour the right side of the green

The green slops back to front

Hole 16 Par 4

Broome Manor Hole 16

WHITE 398 YARDS | YELLOW 359 YARDS | RED 331 YARDS

A straight drive is needed off the tee which should leave you with a mid-iron for an uphill approach in to the green

There are two bunkers which protect the front of the green, one each side, so take enough club to get to the back of the green and avoid the trouble

The green slops back to front, with two tiers to make putting a little more tricky

Hole 17 Par 5

Broome Manor Hole 17

WHITE 504 YARDS | YELLOW 497 YARDS | RED 443 YARDS

Long hitters will take on the ditch which runs across the fairway. Another long shot is required if you are going for the green in two.

Shorter hitters should layup short of the pond and this will leave a short iron into a shallow green.

This is a birdie chance but is also a card wrecker for many

Hole 18 Par 4

Broome Manor Hole 18

WHITE 410 YARDS | YELLOW 404 YARDS | RED 386 YARDS

A great finishing hole

Favour the left side of the fairway from the tee shot and this will leave you an uphill second shot in to a well guarded green.

Take more club than you think with your approach as the uphill elevation makes the hole play its full yardage

There are some difficult pin placements that can be tucked away behind the bunker on the right
